Questions students ask
Before applying
Short answers. The long ones are on the admissions and parents’ pages.
When do I see a real patient?
Clinical observation starts in the second semester, and supervised clinics run every semester after that. The fourth year is a ten-month internship: 1,200 supervised hours, with at least one semester outside Claverton.
Is the campus in Delhi?
Knowledge Park III, Greater Noida, in the Delhi National Capital Region. The nearest metro is Knowledge Park II on the Aqua Line, about three kilometres away, and central Delhi is roughly an hour by expressway. The office is open 8 AM to 6 PM every day.
Do I need NEET?
No. Admission is half the Class 12 marks and half the score in AHEE, the Allied Healthcare Entrance Exam. Eligibility is Class 12 from CBSE or ICSE with PCM or PCB and 50% or more. Gap years are accepted and there is no age bar.
What is the hostel like?
The Rehabilitation Council of India requires recognised colleges to provide separate hostels for men and women, with dining, for at least half the students. Claverton’s room types, capacity and charges are confirmed by the admissions office and published before the session.
Is there ragging?
No, and the rules are the UGC’s. Every student and a parent sign the anti-ragging undertaking at antiragging.in before admission, and the committee and helpline numbers are published before the session begins.
